6-Speed Transmissions
Available for all Golf/Jetta IV, New Beetle, Golf/Jetta V, and Audi A3. Will also fit Golf/Jetta III with VR6.
In addition we offer the 02C 4 motion, and 01E Audi six speed transmission.
The 02A/02J/0A4/02C 6-Speed boxes are now available in three main configurations, Race, Rally and 5th/6th Add-on boxes. The Race and Rally boxes are built with completely custom ratio gear sets from 1st through 6th, Add-on boxes have custom 5th and 6th gears only. Alternative gear ratios may be available, contact your Eurospec dealer for more details.
Eurospec 6-speed Race and Rally transmissions feature strengthened mainshafts and gears using SAE 3310 material, precision ground and cryogenically treated for maximum strength. All Eurospec transmissions are delivered fully assembled by our factory trained technicians, eliminating the time consuming and complex task of assembly and preventing the need to sacrifice your original transmission.
Note: All 5 & 6 Speed Race and Rally Close Ratio Gear Boxes, Gear Sets, and 5/6 Add-On are slightly noisier than the stock Set. This is due to the Size, Shape, and Helix Angle of the Gears in these Sets.

Audi 6-Speed TransmissionsThere has been considerable discussion surrounding the strength of the first gear 01E 6-speed transmissions supplied with European S4s and RS2s through 1999. The original RS2 was delivered with 315 HP. Under normal conditions, the original first gear was strong enough to handle the torque from this engine. However, as tuners began to increase the HP output from these vehicles to 400 HP and beyond, the original first gears started to fail. This is especially true with cars used for standing-start racing applications such as drag racing. Although we have had no failures with the early style gearboxes we have sold (even when used with increased performance engines), we are pleased to offer the stronger and newer version of the 01E 6-speed transmission. We offer complete 01E six-speeds with both the early and late first gear builds. The latter (KSP/DSP) are both stronger and more expensive.
